Ward Crockett holds an MFA in Film Directing from DePaul University. His short horror film There Is No Door has screened at the 41st Cleveland International Film Festival, Razor Reel Flanders Film Festival, H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival, and the Oceanside International Film Festival, where it won the Jury Award for Best Narrative short.  His short horror film Between screened at the 40th Cleveland International Film Festival, the Grossman Fantastic Film and Wine Festival, the Puerto Rico Horror Film Festival, the MiddleCoast Film Festival, and the Chicago Horror Festival, where lead actress Holly Bittinger picked up a Best Actress award. He recently completed a medium-length horror film, All the Flowers That Cut Through the Earth, a semifinalist for the Screencraft Film Fund.​
